Three hundred years of a working farm, kept as one where that mattered and rebuilt where it did not. The beams are original and low in places, which is worth knowing if you are tall. The water comes off the mountain and is cold in every season — in August you will be grateful for it.

Above Valldemossa on the old carrer, close enough to hear the monastery bells from the garden. Palma is thirty minutes down the pass on the days you want it, and easy to forget on the days you do not.
