Salt & Stone

Six houses is the point, not a stage we are passing through.

Most collections grow because growth is what collections do. A house is offered, it is broadly suitable, and it goes on the list. Six months later the list is ninety houses and nobody has been inside most of them.

We take a house on when it is genuinely better than what we already have at that size and in that part of the island. That is a high bar and it is meant to be. It also means we occasionally turn down a house that would earn us money, which is the whole mechanism — a list you can trust is a list someone has been willing to keep short.

Every house is visited before it joins, and again each season. Each one is looked after by someone who lives on Mallorca, not by a rota dispatched from elsewhere. When you write to us, the person who replies has been inside the house you are asking about.

What we do not do

We do not take instant bookings. A week in a house someone else lives in the rest of the year is not a transaction that should complete without a conversation, and every enquiry gets one.

We do not run offers, countdowns, or notices telling you how many other people are looking. If a week is free, the calendar says so.

FOR OWNERS

If your house is under our management, you can see its calendar, its bookings and its earnings — only yours, and without asking us for a report.

WHO WE ARE

No names, photographs or company registration are shown, because Salt & Stone does not exist. Inventing them would fabricate exactly the proof this page is supposed to offer.
